Out and about with KurtiWinter is for walking too

Every week Kurti takes our house guests through the Stodertal – from an easy path along the valley right up to the summit. Every guest staying with us is welcome to join, and taking part is included.
We set out with you in winter as well – through snow-covered forests up to the alpine pastures and on into the Totes Gebirge. If there is enough snow we go on snowshoes, otherwise on foot along cleared paths. Snowshoes and poles are free to borrow for our house guests.
Please sign up at reception by 17:00 the day before.

Höss Alpin Runde
Gemütlich geht es direkt vom Hotel zur Talstation im Ortszentrum. Von dort fahren wir mit der Gondel bis zu Mittelstation & dann mit dem 6er-Sessellift nach ganz oben. Bei der Aussichtsplattform „Schafkögel“ haben wir einen grandiosen 360° Panoramablick auf dasTote Gebirge – danach geht es weiter zu der Aussichtsplattform „Dachsteinblick“. Von dort aus geht es über die Höss-Runde zur Gondelbahn & zurück zum Hotel

Pießling Ursprung – Gleinkersee
Mit dem Wanderbus oder eigenem PKW geht es nach Roßleithen. Von dort starten wir Richtung Pießling Ursprung. Die Karstquelle zählt zu den größten im Toten Gebirge. Ein leichter Weg führt weiter zum Gleinkersee. Wir umrunden den See in ruhigem Tempo. Einkehrmöglichkeit beim Gasthaus Seebauer. Zurück geht es über den Blauen Sensenweg nach Roßleithen.

Übers Öttlgut zur Polsterlucke
Direkt vom Hotel wandern wir entlang der Steyr taleinwärts. Vorbei am Kneipp-Parcours geht es Richtung kleiner Priel. Beim Wasserfall Stegerbach beginnt ein kurzer Anstieg zum Öttlgut. Nach einer kurzen Rast führt der Weg leicht fallend weiter. Durch die Polsterlucke erreichen wir das Polsterstüberl. Weiter geht es zum Schiederweiher und durch den Ort zurück. Abwechslungsreiche Runde entlang von Bach, Fluss und Wasserfällen.

A high-alpine snowshoe walk in the Totes Gebirge, suitable for everyone. A leisurely climb to 2000 m with a view of the Rottal and the Dachstein – especially magical in spring.

Alpine pasture walk Steyrsbergerreith
A leisurely family snowshoe walk from Vorderstoder up to the Steyrsbergerreith, an ancient low alpine pasture, with a view of the mountains of the Stodertal. In summer it is worth walking on to the Hutterer Almen.

A demanding snowshoe walk at the foot of the Kleiner Pyhrgas to an idyllically situated alpine pasture with a panoramic view over the Windischgarsten valley.
